I love history and talking about history with others. I firmly believe that a solid understanding for and appreciation of history is vital for anyone who wants to participate meaningfully in society. However, I also fully understand how easy it is to make history boring. My mission is to help as many people as possible realize that people are people, no matter when they lived or what they wore. We all have the same sorts of desires, fears and aspirations.

I have been involved with living history for over a decade. I have worked at Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia and the site of the original Charleston, South Carolina settlement. I currently have half a master's degree, and am enjoying a summer without class!
